A few years back when I stayed with mom and dad while between homes, we would have "happy hour" where we'd all have a drink while we made dinner.  I was feeling homesick today (funny since I'm not but 20 miles from mom and dad)... so recreated happy hour for me.  I made a random drink, pictured here... it's 1/2 oj, 1/2 fruit punch koolaid, and a shot of malibu...it was surprisingly delightful!  I made quesidillas also.... with mozzarella cheese and peperoni in it, along with a side of red sauce!! i've thought about making that for a while, and didn't have the stuff for it till today.

my attempt at dinner was an epic fail....i started eating it and realized a few bites into it that the chicken wasn't cooked through.  it had to go back into the for another 20 min, not sure what went wrong....

this made me laugh today. i'm wondering if the woman that owns this car thought that if she covered her Whisky plate up with an ugly golden eagle license plate frame, no one would notice it.... ps, when I passed her up, she's got the same eagle frame on her front license plate.

I can't believe I didn't include this when I did my week straight of favorite things... I LOVE my Aquaphor.  I've been hooked since I was 19.  I need it around me... I've got small tubes hidden through my house and bigger bottles in my purse and at work.  If I forget it, I'll head to target at lunch to buy more. Gotta keep my lips moisturized!

My last regular season game at Target Field in it's first season... lucky for me I got to see my Kevin Slowey pitch a relief inning... He's up for waivers this year, so who knows if I will see him in a twinkies uni next year or not.
