The other day I decided I'd start up my Netflix subscription again... Why? because I can watch unlimited movies thru my Wii!!!  I've had it since Sunday, and I'm already HOOKED on a show that I never knew about before Netflix suggested it to me.... It's a show from the History channel called "The Universe"  O M G.  I love it. I've geeked out watching it every night this week. That's right, I've skipped watching the Twins play (and lose by the way)..and I've skipped watching my favorite shows which are only on their second week of their season!!!!!!!  Thank God for DVR :)

My Grandma Hedin loved angels.... This is one of my favorite items that I inherited from her when she passed.  It's such a beautiful little statue of a baby angel :) Today it looked really pretty with the sun shinning in on it.  Made me think Grandma was saying hello :)

Well with the Twins clenching the American League Central Championship, they've come out with a new Homer Hanky.  And yours truly has decided it's time to make me a Twinkies quilt!  I bought 10 of these Hankies, and the material to the right.... This is the first time that I'll be putting together one of these quilts with no pattern... I'm hoping that I can get it figured out the numbers to make it work :)  we will see!!

Okay my week of favorites is over. I'll do it again soon though because I have so many other favorite things I want to share, I can't contain it to one week.
This is a funny photo.  The Big Bird that Haley is standing on is one of HER favorite things (along with the quilt I made her for her first birthday:)  It's funny to me because she decided today she was going to stand on "Bubby"

So I went to my sista's house for a party.... but before that, I had to take some uhhhh 21 month photos of my favorite little girl, my niece Haley (or Baby as dan calls her)!  I bought this cute Twins cheer leading uniform for Haley last year.  I knew it wouldn't fit her then, and it's still pretty big, but she's so stinking CUTE!  So this photo shows two of my faves, Miss Haley and the Minnesota Twins :)

I love love love sunglasses. This obsession started in ohhhh 2008 when I went to Boston/NYC.  When visiting NY I went to a cafe that was in the show Sex and the City.  When I got home, I immediately started watching the show to see the cafe I went to while I visited NYC. The fashion this show has amazed me... the sunglasses, one to match every outfit... I became obsessed with getting as many sunglasses as I could.  I even found a store that sold them two for $10.  I bought many of my sunglasses there. Today, they don't even sell sunglasses :(  It's been a while since I've added to my collection, but I'm always looking!

I looooove this time of year because it's time to start burning candles!!  i dont do much candle burning during the summer, so this is a favorite time of the year. i love partylite candles.  they smell so good, and they burn the whole wick down!  I got these two items from partylite a few years back, tonight i'm burning my favorite flavor, agave nectar!  mmmmm...

this time of year is my favorite because i get to pull out my hoodies and zippies... I LOVE sweatshirts!  these are just a few of my zippies, i've got a big ol shelf of hoodies above.... i've got 40 plus... and I'll keep buying them, because i love it!

I've been working at Bruce's for 5 and a half years... nothing makes my day better than a note from an insured like this!! it feels good to help my clients, and have them appreciate all i do for them!!  This was a nice surprise for me in the mail today!

Here we go!!! it's the start of "my favorite things"  week on 365!  you see above tv on dvd. I LOOOOVE my tv on dvd... i've got more than just these, i've just "rented" them out to friends and family!!  I love love love watching my shows on dvds!! :)

Every different baseball stadium I go to, I buy a hat of the home team... since Target Field is different than the metrodome, I had to get me a new hat :)  this is my Kevin Slowey hat, part of the Signature Series... Kevin designed this, he's from Pittsburgh, so went with the Steelers colors, his signature is on the side there with his favorite bridge of Pittsburgh.
